O/T Changing Broadband supplier

O/T Changing Broadband supplier

Postby Christies Child » Sat Nov 22, 2008 10:37 am

I've been paying £18 a month for my Broadband connection and nothing else from Orange for a long time now.

I want to change to a new supplier who can give me a better deal at a reduced cost.

With so many out there who should i look at?

Thanks

i was paying £19.99 to orange ...£45 to sky.....bt line rental plus calls.....

dropped movies and sports on sky...gone for basic 6 £20ish....got medium usage broadband..inc free modem .£5.....free 6 months phone calls and line rental, then still only a fiver unlimited anytime calls plus sky line rental....so sky doing good deals at the moment

saving a fortune and upto now...no problems at all :D

i have been with bt broadband option 3 free evening/weekend calls (upto 8mg speed) for a year should been £25 per month(gave me it for £20 to keep me)+11 line rental, but im changing to sky, free wireless modem, free sky + box basic package £17 per month, upto 8mg speed £5 per month, free evening and weekend calls and line rental to sky not bt £10 per month, all in all for £32 per month. 12 month contract.a little tip tell them the £30 connection fee is a stumbling block or you would move ,you still have to pay the £30 but they knocked the first 4 months line rental off so i will be paying £22.ordered all on thursday sky dish, box fitted today and working fine.broadband and phone will be up and running within the week.

If I could get Sky here I would, however we are not currently in their area, therefore I'm with Virgin media (medium) but I think its about £17.99. Friends up the road (10 miles) got Sky with unlimited downloads, free calls etc for £5. Sky told me I could have it from them (or at least charged by them) but it would cost me £17.99 and BT would supply it, not sky. If I wanted BT I would phone BT  No problems with Virgin though unless you have a Mac, like my better half does :!: She hates virgin :!: No rude comments please
