Season 2015/2016 expectations

With the annual 10 month football circus about to take off, what are our expectations for the forthcoming season in what will be an even more difficult league in which to compete.... :?: :?: :?:

For me with the signings that Jimbo has made to date I would hope that we are more equipped to compete in the midfield areas of the game that over the last few seasons has seen us to be less than competitive in a number of games.

Defensively I feel we are as strong if not stronger than last season but the position of goalkeeper is worrying because until we get into the real business we will not know if Baz has made a complete recovery from his injury and if not will it have long term repercussions?

Up front we appear to be relying very much on Jack and Kevin to produce the goods with Mullers striving hard to establish a regular first team place. For me we can't continue to expect Kevin to be the dominant force he has been in his career to date and unfortunately age is the one thing nobody can control. Tom B is an unknown quantity and therefore for me we desperately need an additional proven striker (or a raw non league striker wanting to progress in the FL). Someone wih a bit of height and physical presence would be ideal but no doubt every club is in the hunt for such an individual.

As far as style of play goes, I'd like us to be more entertaining and play the ball to feet and on the deck. However it's a result based business and I have accept that playing nice attractive football to feet doesn't always deliver the result required and therefore I'll sacrifice style and substance for points if it means that we will be in the promotion hunt come May 2016.

Best of luck fellas.... :D :D :D

I am hoping for much more positive home performances such as the ones against Portsmouth , Southend Luton etc last season.

We have a much more fluent and attacking midfield/widemen so I hope we go for it a lot more than we did at times last season.
