Was that the last time that Morecambe had five different goal scorers? No Artell either!

6 - 0 was it at CP with 5 goals from outside the area, and 1 by Duffy infront of the North stand when he lobbed the keeper from just inside the box.

Very best of luck, gives hope to L2 clubs

Nearly 6 years on and the crowd was then only 2034 which is circa our current average. Even the Crawley game attracted only a few more.

Interestingly that 6 players who appeared on the team sheet v Bournemouth are still connected with the club in one capacity or another.

I have the highlights of this game downloaded and there is no more than 100 Bournemouth fans at Christie Park so the home attendance is at least 1,900 which is probably 500 more than we are currently getting. I know it doesn't suit most peoples agenda on the whole McIlroy budget v Bentley budget but that 500 extra people does equate to a considerably higher playing budget.

That game is definitely up there with one of the best I have been to. We tore them a new one and pretty much every goal was exceptional. I'd do anything to see a game like that at the Globe!

Fantastic rise in such a short time and Premiership all but guaranteed.
Favourites for relegation no doubt, but what a reality check for them Edgar St., Christie Park and the Crown Ground to Old Trafford, Anfield and the Emirates in a very short time

Brett Pitman played tonight and scored past Barry Roche, Andy Parrish, Drummy and Jimbo at Christie Park in 2009.

Well done Bornemouth. Saved by the fans not so long ago and now in the big time. Just goes to show that even small clubs should not limit their own horizons.

Brenford also in the playoffs. Be great to see two ex L2 clubs giving the big boys their best shot next season.

Would love it if they win tonight, particularly at 7/1

Great to see Eddie Howe tactics with 2 strikers up top

Half the Liverpool team of virtual unknowns cost 10 times as much

Bournemouth robbed by a peck on the shoulder, while at the other end they are robbed in front of the Kop by a so called offside - even Jamie Carragher agrees//

They will be on the wrong side of a few decisions this season
