Stating the obvious:
1. 4/2/3/1 at home does not work.In the second half we went 4/4/2 an at least it was a contest.Manager take note.
2. Miller - player of the month for L2 in October. That was then, this is now.Gets a 1 on 1 following a glorious ball from Barky (the sort HE should be given to run on to) and had not one but several touches too many, finally almost passing it to the keeper.
3. Beeley. If he is our best right back god help us.Constantly drawn infield. to the ball , at least 10 yards from their winger and inviting the pass.He then panics and tries to recover, failing miserably. Give him the ball and he ALWAYS goes inside, playing us into trouble. Stand in skipper?
4.Lets pass it about at the back.Fine when you are 3-0 up, not when you are losing. They shut us down and we lump it up the pitch, usually from Baz.Far too much kick it in the general direction of a player , not enough picking players out, even if they are only 10 yards away.
I could go on but like many of the team (again) cant be arsed.

Good to see Murphy back, one of very few highlights.
Rant over.

We are absolute shit ! They had a game plan of playing long balls to their wingers and our full backs just couldn't deal with it. Don't know what's happened to Beely after being player of the season last season and as for Wilson I haven't seen a worse player at this level I don't think. He can't pass a ball to save his life and just jogs round with no fight what soever ! There just two of the many problems we have there's no urgency in the team to win 2nd balls hopefully now Murphy is back we can have someone sorting things and and being a leader what we've badly missed. Worrying times ahead for us good job we got a few points on the board early on or we could of been dragged into a relegation battle !

Anyone know how Wilson and Kev made the starting 11 let alone the full 90 minutes. Terrible tonight - just when you think they cant get worse, they do!

Ellison was on the pitch but I wouldn't exactly say he played. Can someone please explain why Kevin started tonight or even more astonishing why he was still on the pitch at the end. Might as well have played with 10 men!

Admittedly, I've not read all this thread yet, but where was Devitt tonight?

Unfortunately in my opinion the problem was the formation. It looked like Alex Kenyon was trying to protect the back four but should have been hooked after 20 minutes. They were sharper to every ball and we were over run in midfield. I don't know who is coaching the defenders but its criminal to let an opponent have so much time on the ball and have so much time to pick out a colleague in the box. In my opinion £3 was about value for money for the dross served up tonight!

I lay a lot of the blame at Jim's door as the formation he played was clearly the wrong one and should have been changed way before half time.

This has been the case for ages. Like Kev, good person to have around, still fit for his age, but when he's not on his game he shouldn't be on the pitch imo.
Others get subbed when this is obvious, he doesnt, the days of he can score from nothing for 2 mins out of 90 have gone
