He was down for a long time  No more subs, so down to 10 men. Six minutes added on. Be glad to get a draw now.

It means if they are out that Mullin and Molyneaux will have to step up to the plate.

Shrimps24/7 tweeted same at half time.

I enjoyed first half - good entertainment.

Also enjoyed first 10 minutes of second half. Then it went to rat shit somewhat.

Shocking pi$$ poor referee yet again.

Less than a thousand HOME fans. Walked home thoroughly deflated.

Roll on Saturday!

The thing that got me was that when Beeley went off injured Jim moves Barky to right back when there were other options then takes Devitt off so our two best attacking players on the night have been taken out and that was it game over.

Quote of the year on 12th January

What gets me is, we seem to play for survival rather than go for it.

Sponsors (of the original game) didn't turn up, just about sums it up. Kev received his MOM in front of about 37 people.

Exeter - Anfield here we come

What exactly did Kev do to deserve MOTM? It was the first time that there was virtually no response from the crowd when it was announced, barely a trickle of applause. Was it another case of a sponsor who was only there for the hospitality, wasn't watching the game, and just gave the only name he could think of when asked?

The sponsors were there for the original fixture, took the hospitality without watching a game - probably the way forward

Is it my rose tinted glasses. Last nights game was the best we've had in quite a while. Either side could have won it and we did create a few chances. Kev worked hard trying to close down the opposition and if the others did the same we would be a better side.
All the teams that come to "The Globe" pass it along the back four with enough time to pick any pass they want to.
We are closed down so quick Paz and Dugdale or Edwards have to launch it ort pass it back to Baz.
This is my biggest gripe and if I can see it why can't Jim.
It's not rocket science.
See you Saturday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems that we learned sod all about closing down in all areas and pressurising the opposition into mistakes after the superb performance at Wycombe when we did just that.

Problem for me with the management is that they are totally inconsistent with their tactics which for me only lends to confusion both on and off the pitch.

Have to say that last nights game was winnable if only we'd played with a higher line and put pressure on their defence.

Good to see Tom McCreedy once again. Always felt he got a bum deal from Jim and Co.

Was it not the case that we weren't paying him, yet he travelled here to training etc gladly at his own expense?

Can't fault him for contacting other clubs asking for a contract.

He had a good game too I thought.

Just watched the highlights from the game on Player..... can't understand why our defence didn't close them down (as we did v Wycombe) allowing them to dictate play towards the end of the game (prior to going to 10 men) .

Also, anybody else notice how many times we have been beaten to midfield headers this season due to a lack of height (or is that an inability to jump high enough... :?: ) or a lack of aggression... :?: :?: :?:
