The blame.

I suppose supporters will always look to differentiate between "the club" and the limited company. To all intents and purposes, whilst Rangers were bought from the Liquidator, and a new co set up, the history belongs to the "club" and it's supporters, and rightly so in my view. It would be very difficult trying to explain and telling someone who had been going to Ibrox and supporting them for 50 years that the club you are watching today is not the same club who won however many successive championships on the trot, and that John Greig didn't play for this club he played for the previous Rangers!!

I suppose you could argue the same has happened at Morecambe upon the move from Christie Park to Westgate. It's as if it was stripped of it's history - like all those Christie Park years were just airbrushed away. It's just never felt the same since the move. I do think the Board could have done a lot more to bring over some of the feelings and atmosphere from Christie Park rather than starting afresh with a sterile ground with bare walls and virtually no sign of the club's proud history.

This seems to be one thing a lot of fans agree on.

Glasgow Rangers, had to start from scratch.

So did the aforementioned Darlington 1883.

They started in the Northern League and are now progressing very nicely.

Darlington promoted tonight and took 2000 to Whitby.
