O/T Football Foundation Grant

O/T Football Foundation Grant

Postby Christies Child » Thu May 12, 2016 12:20 pm

Accy Stanley have qualified for a Football Foundation Grant of £600,000 to help develop their ground.

Did we / do we qualify for such a grant for the new ground / further development... :?: :?: :?:

Also their former MD who was made redundant by the new owner earlier this year has taken over as the new GM at Macclesfield Town.

Wonder if we can see changes in our operation if and when we undergo a take over.... :?: :?: :?:

We could have got a boat load of grant money for the new ground had we made it all seater but we didn't and we've got what we've got.

The Crown isn't all seater.

The Crown isn't all seater.

I'm aware of that.

I think they qualified because the new stand is all seating.

Begs the question had we stayed at Christie and gone ahead with the development proposed on the Lancaster Road side and where the old club house used to be, would we have qualified for a grant which would have helped towards the cost.... :?: :?: :?:

Personally I'm glad we moved to Westgate rather than continue to spend on development and refurbishment work at Christie.

There are people that know things or have people round them that do, then there are people that just don't know, but often think they do
