I wish Bentley would do 1st half season then get Harvey to take over for 2nd half each season as some new way of having joint managers

Just don't change the tactics and formation might be the answer.

However, we're only four (league) matches into the season. We've been on top early before and slumped from October onwards. We've started off playing great football and soon withdrew into playing negative defensive football that has seen us squander result after result and crowds at the Globe dwindle.

Everyone on here will be happy to see the current form and tactics continue. However, those calling for Jim's head have every right to want to know why he only plays like this for a few weeks per season, and should things take a backwards turn in a few weeks, those saying "I told you so" have every much as right as those in this thread looking to lord it over the people who were (rightly) angry after the horror show at Grimsby. Would anyone really have thought it was the wrong decision if the club had parted company with Jim at the end of last season?

Give it a month and we'll see a truer picture of where we truely are - lets hope history doesn't repeat itself again this season. Roll on Wednesday - if we maintain this form, and Bournemouth rest a few first teamers, we have a real shout at an upset.

This is pretty much spot on. I said last season that if Jim comes in to this season as Morecambe manager, he will be a very lucky man. I whinged after the Grimsby game as my despair from last season continued in to this season. My spirits have been lifted by a change in tactics by Jim and I have to applaud him for that. Morecambe FC have always played with two up front and it is great to see that return with Dunn and Stockton. The fans who are calling out the doubters must remember we all have the best interests of the club at heart and nobody will take pleasure in seeing a dip in form.

Sorry to disappoint, but we have played 4-2-3-1 for the past four games, with Dunn as The middle of the attacking three behind Stockton, but it works, whatever!! :D

Although I am positive, I still have to agree with the doubters about a short term high. We have been In this position a time or 3 now, which is great and would have to look up when we last won 4 in a row, But we now need to keep it going for longer tactical wise, regardless of injuries and opponents coming up. We don't really want to rely on Baz playing a blinder every week
