Goalkeeper change

I just don't get the point of maintaining the status quo. Clearly it is not working on the pitch and I think the Manager should be looking at changing things up. Roche may be a quality shot stopper but waiting for him to get rid of the ball is painful. AJ made a great run on the break yesterday but Roche never even turned his head to have a look. It was the thing we all noticed when Davies came back a couple of seasons ago.

Is or Was.... :?: :?: :?:

I could be wrong but I suggest that the vast number of goals scored against us to date and last season came from shots outside or just inside our penalty area.

What is worrying is the lack of shots WE make in a game.

You're right we never test the goalie enough. Their keeper didn't have a mark on him and didn't need to wash his kit!

been a problem for years, we've been on about this going back since the CP days, remember everyone after the Bournmouth game being wooed when we beat and scored 5 goals from outside the box with just Duffys goal chipping the keeper from just inside the box.

Also I think this was one if the reasons we were all excited about signing Ryan Wiliams with his ability to smack a ball from long range.

Just going back to that Bournemouth match with the long range goals , one of them was a volley from Craig Stanley.

Even at 33 he is still a better midfielder than what we have on our books at the moment and he always gave a 100% and it hurt him when we lost.

I don't think he has a club at the moment.

He has two! On loan at Southport from Lincoln City.

Lincoln cancelled his contract by mutual consent a couple of weeks back.
