Correct Ken, also Stephen Wright left.. Strange why Althams were there for a while and then jumped after a very short time....

I have said it elsewhere, Rod Taylors next move is crucial

both Rick and Jim are very proud of their family connection with the club.

I think they genuinely didn't realise it would require as much time and effort as it did, both busy enough with their growing company and pressure to spend more time with their families.

it's pity they have brilliant business brains and Jim in particular as a great knowledge of football, and actually watches the home games properly, keen to talk with afterwards about who played well and what went wrong etc.

I'd never rule them out in the future when their kids are all grown up.

Interesting that PMG has tried to contact Diego Lucan , or is it the BBC usual wrong information

I'm extremely saddened by Nigel leaving the board, but completely understand the reasons he's stated. As has been said by so many already, he is a thoroughly decent man who was what we'd all want to be, a supporter in the board room. His actions are entirely honourable and I thank him for everything he's done and wish him well, knowing that he'll never stop being a fan. Otherwise none of this bodes well for the coming financial period and the medium term picture has been dealt a blow by his announcement that he'll end his sponsorships when expired (which is a shame because he was so proud to have his company name on the shirts this season). Posh is right, the supporters trust is more important now than ever because at the moment the only way to describe the whole thing is shambolic.

Sad to see an honourable man resign from the board. I cannot understand Diego's position at all. He doesn't seem able(or is unwilling) to communicate with people and rather than bring certainty he has brought doubt by the bucketful. What exactly are his motives? He is rapidly losing any remnant of credibility.

And Nigel won't want to be a director of a business that goes into administration, not good for his other interests and his general standing.

I note he's careful to say he's resigning from Morecambe Football Club 'LIMITED'.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

That was the first thing that I thought too Shrimper.

Sounds to me that administration is looming ever nearer, sadly.

Just went past the ground and the board which advertises the next home game has been left empty, maybe its just an oversight or is someone making a point.
