Im still dubious. Are we hemereging money that quick that the current account ran out of money and Diego has had to bail us out already and transfer some of his money across.

Im still worried about the long term future.

Lets hope for the players and staff that the money is forthcoming and that the wages are paid this week.

I'll keep an open mind.

Yes very open that George

I am pretty sure this will be resolved this week. However the bigger issue is how we managed to run out of cash in a month were we have had nearly 7000 paying punters through the door.

Ahhh, yes... 7,000 punters who have spent on an average of £28 each. That makes a grand total of £196,000.

An estimate of the playing staff wages alone per month would be approximately £75,833 That's on an average on £700/week for 25 players which is realistic - pre employer's NI by the way.

HMRC don't mess around any more with football clubs not paying their tax bill.

Expect a winding up petition to be presented to the club if that's the case. Bury had one a week or two ago.

I will always get behind the team but I'm still 100% worried about the future of our club.

I have more own conspiracy theory that he isn't a successful Brazilian business man based in Qatar but a Portuguese economics student at Lancaster University that played too much championship manager as a kid and has done all this as a bet / research project...

Absolutely certain that if there's cash flow problems then the HMRC bill will be outstanding. Lets hope it is just a month and that it is settled this week. Those boys don't take prisoners.

I mentioned this on Facebook

Supporting the club

Supporting the board

Setting up contingency plans if the board aren't what's promis d

Are not mutually exclusive events.

I will have a better plan for a trust come the middle of next week.

Putting the club ownership to one side - there are some serious questions that need to be asked to clear up not just the late payment of wages (although this isn't the first time the players have been paid late; its not even the first time this year) but various other rumours that are flying around at the moment.

Are you actually being serious - You have only just realised this now? The club has been running at the end of its agreed planned overdraft limit for the past 2 to 3 years, requiring loans from directors and other sources to keep afloat. We posted a taxable loss of £800k relating to the 2014/15 season a few months ago, 2015/16 - has the potential to be worse. At best we are running at a £15k weekly loss. Whoever is in charge, we (the fans) expect this person to pick up the tab. I suspect a large portion of that loss is avoidable - and what I was hoping was the new people would come in and restructure the club.

However, the underlying problem - even if we were had a successful fans trust model that was up and running - is that we have a gate that has dwindled to a hardcore of 1,200 home fans at a push. The fact that people who watch 1 game every 6 months are now upset by the current state of affairs and want answers is a complete joke. There was a long running thread the past week or so, in which a fan of 25 years or so had finally had enough because of the displays on the pitch, surely the news of the last few days puts that kind of attitude into perspective - do you want a club to support (not just for today, but for the years and years of Saturdays to come sat at home doing housework) or not?

Just been mentioned on 5live regarding our owner and the plight we are in. Clem was wondering about the fit and proper test and due dilligence regarding it! Nice to get a menton regarding this on the radio might get a few more people interested. Still sad we are getting mentioned for all the wrong reasons mind

I suspect the EFL will review their decision on Mr. Lemos in the light of events. I would not be surprised if before long the police become involved.
