A good result at the end of the day and an enjoyable away trip.

The officials were terrible it must be said. Moly got rugby tackled when he was breaking away down the left in a blatant 'take him out and accept a yellow' challenge but no yellow came. Then there was an offside where their player was stood 5-10 yards offside but the liner didn't wave. I didn't get a good look at either penalty shout.

Apart from that, we worked really hard and showed loads of spirit and determination. A draw a fair result and a good point on the road against a top side.

Apparently it was because of behaviour my a minority of fans on the last couple of visits. Even so if there were a couple of idiots it wouldn't have taken the whole Cumbria police force to sort out

Last two years some of our fans had to be escorted to the train station for there safety, but not this time so over the top policing.

If the police had done their homework they would know this minority no longer watch us.

Obviously not over the top, given the previous two seasons. As long as there was no bother yesterday, which I don't think there was, next time there probably won't be as many coppers.

I was listening to Radio Cumbria in the car back from Carlisle yesterday.

Keith Curle was late getting to his radio interview as he said he had been talking to Jim and Kenny in his office about the situation we find ourselves in. He mentioned that a player can demand a move if his salary is not paid within a certain time-frame. I think he may have been discussing Tom Barkhuizen's exit from Morecambe.

I just wonder if they were discussing the sale of a player to Carlisle to make up the shortfall in wages ?

Well with us having a few games coming up against Carlisle's rivals that would be a nice thought.

Crawley Town had a "pay what you want" game against Hartlepool United yesterday.

The crowd was 4,266 and it would be interesting to see what the cash takings were from that sort of offer.

Could Jim and Ken have been discussing the return of Jamie Devitt on loan? He doesn't seem to have settled at Carlisle.

"Jamie Devitt, your teeth are offside". Cruel but funny.
He didn't set the world on fire yesterday, and was Miller playing? The report says he was substituted at 46 mins but I hadn't noticed him on the pitch.

Well done to each and every one of the 410 Shrimp fans who went to the game.

Your encouragement could be plainly heard on Radio Cumbria.

That was only my second away game and it was brilliant to be there :D I couldn't hear any Carlisle singing at all, were we really louder than 5000 home fans? Hard to tell when you're tucked away in a corner.

I thought McGowan played well. It was fun giving Jamie Devitt some stick, but looking at the highlights he went over and said something to the ref when Dean was sent off, looked as if he was trying to put in a good word? I wouldn't mind him back on loan if it was possible

He actually came ON at half time, but as he was at the other end, I'll forgive you for not noticing him! ;) I think he may have won the free kick that led to Winnard's sending off and the equaliser, so he's still a ****...

Whilst I understand that it is commonplace to boo former players, I wasn't happy that Devitt was being booed particularly in the first half by many of our fans.
Most of the fans who were booing would have him back at our club in a flash, a great player for us who made and scored goals.

Yes, like I said I failed to notice him, I was probably too busy booing Devitt. ;)
In the match report I saw that Miller had been replaced at 46 min, apparently TOM Miller. I was still queuing for my cup of tea when the 2nd half kicked off and missed the changes so I thank you for your forgiveness, I now feel absolved of my sin.
