After today's results it is mathematically impossible for us to reach the play-offs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bugger.

Seriuosly though, well done to players, staff and active supporters for getting us through this season (YES OF COURSE WE ARE OK - we have the magical 50 pts now). It's been traumatic and all the off-field crap has still to be sorted of course.

But - we will survive!!! Thank you all.

A fantastic result against a team desperate to win and keep up their playoff chances.

An absolute rollercoaster supporting Morecambe at times but with the lowest budget in the league, a transfer embargo for virtually the whole season, players not paid three times and legal cases flying around, this was an utterly immense season by Jim, Ken, his staff and all the players.

Jim and the team have worked miracles under massive difficulties.

You can't blame Jim for saying that he can't have another year like the one we are just finishing. Let's hope to goodness we get clarity very soon on the ownership issue, get a decent new owner on board (not Cala) and recruit some new players to strengthen the squad for next season.
