Just like to say how impressed I have been with Thommo since his return. Shown great courage and passion for the shrimps I'd be amazed if he can keep these displays up throughout the season.

Agree.
Weird as in my eyes he was MOM against Cheltenham but Vadaine got it, and against Accy he was tireless and a threat all day, and Adam got it!! :D

watching from the sidelines last Saturday, I was impressed how fast he looks, a fair few times he out paced Stanley players

and that's after myself and others were saying after news we'd resigned him, he probably won't be as effective out wide due to his age, but he can still do a decent Job out wide or as a Center forward ?

Agree thought he was Man of the Match both times and with Oliver suspended think he'll be playing up front.

I'm surprised how much pace Thommo still has..... granted he's not as quick as when he left us, but has more than enough speed with the ball to cause problems for defences at this level. When he has played against us in the past I've sometimes felt that he had slowed significantly, but developed a more rounded game. The last part is evident... but the slowing down less so. Hes been a good addition so far IMO, missed a couple of chances but happy with his output.... hopefully there's more to come as he familiarises himself with the rest of the squad.

Spot on.
While welcoming back a legend, I had my doubts about how much pitch time he would earn by his performances this season.
He's been excellent and contributed in every game. And is still (Turner, maybe, aside) our best chance of getting behind opposition defences with pace.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
