Serious question: At what point do we question the management?

I think we again have to question the excessive use of Kev?

I don't think Kev should start - he's OK as an impact sub.

Agreed.
But generally we were poor today, not just a Kev.

I haven't seen enough of our performances this season but 1.We don't seem to have consistency in our team selection 2 We seem to leak a lot of goals so is the defence good enough ? 3. Is Michael Rose the force he was last season? 4. Goals seem to be a problem so have we enough flair going forward? 5. I keep hearing about how strong the squad is but is this true?

Some people question the management after every poor performance, so that would appear to be your answer?

So how did that work out then?

Before today, I'd agree with your question, but today he was one of only about three players who had any credit, Fleming & Oliver the other two. Possibly Old.

Nizic-Confidence drained from him after an early slip and two soft goals.
Lund-Dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Old-Not too bad. Don't think any of the soft goals were down to him, although I'm not sure who was at fault for their goal from a corner? I think a few of our defenders had switched off at that point.
Muller-Nothing like the impact he's had on other games.
Brough-Below par, but not the worst Morecambe player by a long way.
Fleming-My Morecambe MotM, played well & with heart, although perhaps frustration & match fitness getting to him by the time he went off.
Rose-Played well, a contender for Morecambe MotM.
Thompson-Had a very poor game.
Campbell-Didn't do much.
Ellison-Along with Thommo, also very poor.
Oliver-Worked hard in a thankless task. No-one supporting him.

Exeter didn't look anything special, but grew in confidence once we'd gifted them a few goals. A decent team would have thrashed us today.

I agree with all this. Apart from losing Barry, which was a real blow, I thought we looked quite good in the first 15 minutes. Unfortunately we looked anything but good for the rest of the game. Exeter's goals were very poorly defended and it could have been a loss by 6 or 7. Barry's injury was one of those things that happen when a keeper throws himself at the feet of an advancing forward. A very brave save but he paid dearly for it.

Funny how we see things,

IMO, Rose and Fleming were constantly over run in midfield. Campbell chased a lot and did well. Vad needs a partner not play as a lone striker. Reed seemed to leave a boot in on Baz.

27 away fans announced but I counted 30 ;)

Does anyone know if Dean Winnard is injured.

Not heard his name mentioned for a while.

Last time he was playing Jim said he was carrying an injury.

I thought Campbell chased a lot to no avail. Some of his passes were poor.
Vad does need a partner playing close but I'm worried that Jim will, in view of the goals conceded, bolster the defence rather than the attack :( IMHO putting extra bodies in defence would not be the answer to yesterday's goals.

I think Jim mentioned Winnard still being injured in his post-match (Exeter) interview.

IMO we miss wildig.... he is a very underrated player, his movement and passing starts off / sets up a lot of our chances.
