Just saying, what does Jim have against the fans? We are the ones paying the money, whilst Jim is getting paid a wage for this utter tripe. I didn’t think there was much negativity at the game, but he always has to have a pop at someone other than himself doesn’t he?

sorry dont argee entirely, think that was a fair and honest interview.

1) he made some good points, mainly about as soon as we get anybody decent, they get snapped up.

2) i was in hospital today, straight out of theatre and shrimps-player straight on, and ii'll take Freeze's view of the game with the players trying harder

3) at games on the touch lines i do get behind players, many a time shouting unlucky, but after the match i will also have my say just like every fan does, although i can be guilty winding people up, i don't think im as bad nowadays, ;)

4) id just like Jim to look at a change of formation, you can also defend from the front with forwards closing and pressing players higher up the pitch, with a high defensive line.

Fair enough in his views on the game, I agree with them to an extent. We were improved from last week and were unlucky/wasteful not to score.

However, this petty having a go at the fans for being negative needs to stop. It’s pretty pathetic IMO.

Also, all this stuff about what players he’d rather have. What an idiot. It is common knowledge that psychology plays a big part in games so is it really a good idea to go round telling the press that your players are just the dregs you have to make do with? It’s awful management, particularly from someone who, as a player, was such a great leader.

We are all astutely aware of the budget restraints so please, stop banging on about it. I know there is negativity but I don’t think anyone is under any illusions about the budget, and it is well appreciated the players brought in on it. You have the players you have, now find a system and style that suits them and will get the best out of them. Quit moaning about what you don’t have and get the best out of what you do have!

Jim doesn;t like giving younger players a chance. He believes they need time. He just said that we've gt the players who will score goals so why the hell do we continue with players who can't score goals? It took him quite a while last season to accept that Callum would give us goals if we played him. We have a striker who can't score and a player who scored a hatful last year. I know it was at a lower level but surely, in the circumstances he's got to be given a few games soon and not just bit parts with 10 mins to go.

12 games without a win.
Simply not good enough at any level.

I have a feeling that against Preston he will play guys such as Oswell , Jagne , Oates , Sinclair , Leitch-Smith from the start. The team will play good football , score but probably lose and then Jim will revert to Oliver etc at Stevenage.

PNE is a free game and won't do anything to help in our survival battle. He will chop and change players but still play the same way, then revert to the regular players at stevenage.

It is a very good point about the young players. This is how you end up with a player who has scored 4 in his last 50 games on his own up front, who apparently we wanted to ship out on loan, instead of a confident 28 goals a season player sat on the bench.
