Bound to be a lot of positives out of the game, he can also blame the officials for not giving us a penalty! Oh well Cobblers next and we have a great record against them!

According to Quinney, we put in a decent performance without creating any real chances.

So how did that work out then?

Gomez and Jagne not even on the bench! Why! Think we should start with at least one of them.

Well I would say if you don't create any real chances then its not a decent performance.

If we carry on Losing every game going into October, then its in their interest if they wish us to remain a memeber of the FL.

When the new owners took over before the end of the season, they did not seem too bothered which league we were in!

I think that was to take the pressure off for the Coventry game.

Or it’s because they are much more interested in the off-field goings on around the club... Didn’t they say they’d leave the football up to Jim and they’d focus on the actual club?

Some comments from Stevenage fans:

"We beat a mediocre Morecambe without looking that great ourselves"

"Pretty poor performance against a poor Morecambe side, but 3 points is 3 points."

"Morecambe playing out a draw from the start, us lowering to their tempo."

"Absolutely shocking game of football - both teams were awful."

"Morecambe will go down playing like that every week"

Can't wait for Tuesday.

Is 15 minutes at the end of a game enough time for 3 subs to have any affect on the result? I once read an article that suggested it takes a sub 5 minutes to warm up and then a further 5 minutes to get into the feel of the game. Not the result any of us wanted just hope that changes are made for the next game.

Jim's sub's rarely make any impact because they are often like for like rather than changing the system which to be fair, he did do on Tuesday night.

I thought the system changed at the start of the final 45 v PNE which was to his credit but with 15 to go I'm not that sure?

Does anyone know if Mendes-Gomes and Jagne were injured. If not surely one of them was more likely to be an impact sub than Hedley.

That is down to you have to have a club developed player in the squad. AJ used to cover this
