Tonight

I cant attend home games as much as I like as being a chef I always work weekend but will always try to attend games when I can (usually mid-week.)

This was the first time I have seen Morecambe win in 6 attempts and it was a fantastic game. Northampton are a good side with good players that are much physically better than us but we defended extremely well and the stand in keepers saves and defending in general in the last few minutes were astonishing - I actually left the ground sweating! I cant comment on the goal as I foolishly decided to queue for a pie (which I NEVER do) on the 44th minute so cant comment on that.

There was a great atmosphere in the ground particularly towards the end, the lads played with grit and determination and worked endlessly hard there is no doubt in my mind that if we play like that from now till the end of the season we will be safe from relegation at the very least.

Tonight was a must win game, even at this stage of the season, and the lads did just that - the reception from the fans at the end of the game acknowledged that - it was probably one of the best MFC games I have ever seen - onwards and upwards!
