JIM INTERVIEW POST NORTHAMPTON

JIM INTERVIEW POST NORTHAMPTON

Postby cyprus-shrimp » Wed Aug 22, 2018 7:14 pm

Like many I have been avoiding the JB interviews (and excuses) after our games so far this season. So now when I am keen to hear his take on the Northampton game, why are there no interviews that I can find anywhere???

If you look at the Morecambe FC Facebook page there is a video of his interview with Radio Lancs. Quality not great but it is about3 mins long. Unable to work out how to link it!

Thanks Chris and Mark.

As you say Chris, quality not good, but if a good performance and a win means no Jim interview on own website, then let's hope we don't hear from him for a while. :D :D ;) ;)

Only 3 minutes? Was Jim lost for words after that performance? :o

he must've been in a Daze as he walked onto the pitch to hug Kenyon then walked straight off down the tunnel without a cheery wave for the supporters!!

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately we had Jim using that same phrase of "never too high, never too low". What an opportunity to state that with the players we now have playing the right way in the right formation, we can beat anyone in League 2. But no, we again heard about games in the future that we are going to lose etc etc. Also about Morecambe can't attract top players etc. We know all that Jim, but surely you now have a huge opportunity to say something more positive.

Time to start talking this team and this football club UP.???

Agree 100% with this. Still got this nasty feeling that as soon as we ship in a goal or two it will be immediately back to the defensive format. Please Jim this is possibly our best opportunity to really move forward (and upward).

No mention of Oswell who for me was excellent despite not getting his first league goal. Just worried that JB may revert back to Oliver.

It was an exciting performance the other night and I can't believe anyone would revert back to the Oliver tactic. He is a striker unable to strike at league 2 level. Oswell needs to be given an extended run in the side.

Suggest you read my post in the match thread, THEN you will see how positive I was and am about the current selection. Is it negative to express concern that Oliver may return? FFS....

Exactly, can't believe that anybody would think that Oliver should be back...

Don't think anyone is being negative in hoping that Jim keeps the same team so far as possible.
I suggest we just wait and see who starts tomorrow.

Your post in the match thread had a back handed element to it like all your posts do. "Just goes to show..."
You don't even know you're doing it. Can you not congratulate anyone without claiming how you know better or without warning them what not to do next time?

shrimperteer, suggest you read again and complete what I actually said ' just goes to show THOSE who....etc.etc' which does not imply purely my thoughts but the thoughts of others, including I suspect yourself...but there again I could be wrong in such an assumption  To even imply that that post was negative is basically a load of bollocks. I stick by what I said which was to congratulate the team on a superb performance and hope that the Boss sticks with the same starting 11.

Talking of negativity why not check out some of your very own posts in Bentley Bingo...just one example but there are others :D

Re: Bentley Bingo
Wait for the excuses in after match interview and tick off when applicable Players need to gel No proper training site Ref was poor Oliver needs time Leitch Smith not fit to start Grass is too long Pitch not quite ready We can play the same game with your next cheerio/I'm back message. Personal pro...
