Morecambe close to the bottom, still with £1.7m borrowed in recent years.

We seem to be about middle of the pack in League 2. Chesterfield have £9.2m borrowed and are struggling in the conference, whilst Oldham and Colchester have over £10m borrowed!

That kind of analysis is a bit misleading. The "debt" depends on whether the owners are putting in money in the form of loans (in which case it's included in the figures) or whether they're putting in money in the form of shares purchased (in which case they're not). Eg,PMG originally "lent" money to the club in the form of loans, but then converted some of the loans into shares. The new owners have apparently issued more new shares so the money they've put in isn't shown as loans.

£750,000 in shares , so if it was for cash I cannot see how the recent wages delay was down to shortage of funds.
