Any points Jimbo could have got today were a bonus. Last weeks result losing 2 points was a killer.
All teams below picking up points. Cambridge game at home is a MUST win (a draw is not enough) otherwise league position in 2019 is looking bleak.

Also, another excellent turnout from their supporters. We clearly can't compete with crowds of 8,000 but it's nice to see on an utterly rotten, stormy afternoon.
As for us, the weather felt apt! We all know we have injury problems, but we're suffering in some areas. The main one being RB. Yarney just isn't a fullback and so is really struggling there. It's not his fault, it just doesn't work. I'd have rather seen Jordan drop back there and then have Wildig in the middle of the park.
That said, we came with a plan and a formation that wasn't fit for purpose. Sometimes that happens and that's football, but it was clear it wasn't working before we conceded the second (soft penalty or no penalty). Our plan B was to get Mandy and Kev to swap wings. We then came out with the exact same formation and personnel. Nothing changed for the first 20mins until Lincoln took their foot way off the pedal. Only then, with the addition of a hungry-looking Oates, did we manage to create any real chances and pull one back.
The bottom two are clawing back points and we're not looking great. We need to really up our game both attack and defence if we're going to get ourselves out of this hole.
