Good job he had a sense of humour! Some refs would have carded him for that. To be fair, the ref was shrugging his shoulders when he got the card out, almost apologetic for booking Tutte after that finish.

Actually, ref had a good game.

nah alright saying that now after victory.

Oswell in the first half was brought down by the last man running on goal, should of been a straight red, plus an hand ball in the second half and penalty was ignored.

I watched the 'last man' incident again a couple of times. I think the keeper was favourite to get to the ball anyway, so I think yellow was correct. Penalty decision, I couldn't see clearly, so don't know about that one.

Great win today lads under 'score board' pressure of dropping closer to the danger zone. kev behaving as court jester adding to the enjoyment

Three tough games coming up but if today gave the team a bit more confidence who knows what we can achieve. 6 points from the next 4 games would be pretty good.

I'm sure the board noticed how the crowd responded to Jimbo after the game as he applauded them and lifted the whole ground to a rare sence of delight at this result.

Totally deserved and for me the relevation of the season to date has been the form of Jordan Cranston who has slotted into his new role with relish and has proved a more than able replacement for Fleming who on this kind of form will find it difficult to regain his place.

Left wing back with an instruction to get forward with Reece dropping back to provide cover as necessary. Worked a treat.

My mom most definitely.

Nah definitely wasn't a wing back we played with 2 C/Bs Old & Lavelle.

Yarney was at R/B, Cranston L/B, he just like's attacking.

We had 24 shots at goal with 9 being on target.

When did we last have stats like those ? :D :D :D

We *almost* fell in to the trap of 'controlling the game', playing those little 'keep ball passes' just prior to our third. I'd much rather at 2-0 we carry on pressing for a third every time. We've lost momentum in games previously. Yesterday, second half we were excellent, so let's keep it going!

I think the law has changed now if you genuinely go for the ball it is a yellow. Correct decision.

Yes, me. Haven't been able to see them for a couple of weeks now, even ones I've previously watched. I emailed Matty and he suggested it sounds like a issue with the browser or one of it's plug-ins, and suggested making sure the browser is up to date, or try an alternate browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox. If that doesn't resolve it he might have to put me in touch with the support team at NeuLion. That's the company that hosts the video content so if anyone can get you back up and running it's them. :? I'm going to see what my lad thinks tomorrow.

As with all teams at any level there are areas that we need to work on.

We over hit too many forward passes with Old and to some extent Cranston the major culprit(s). However our corner routine shows a vast improvement on previous games and few if any were too long to cause damage to the opposition which has been a problem in too many games to date.

To his credit Sam measured his forward passes to ensure that they didn't go out of play and must has impressed the visiting David Moyes who may have been on a scouting mission to assess our most valuable asset. Once Sam got the measure of their No10 who threatened for the first quarter, he put in yet another impressive performance.

Yesterday's result was crucial in terms of league position and sets us up nicely for a hectic and difficult Christmas and New Year fixture list with away games at Tranmere and Colchester followed by a home game on 1st January to our nearest league neighbours Carlisle who will no doubt be backed by a considerable away following. Let's hope that those home fans who have stayed away due to a run of poor home performances turn out in force.

Just watched the highlights on the OWS. Didn't appreciate the work put in by Oliver at the time. Won may high balls and put in a good number of winning challenges in addition to bringing his team mates into the game on numerous occasions. Has shown a vast improvement over the past few games after being the butt on many posts by myself questioning his position in the team.
