Drawn In

After a score line like Saturday's, do we think more locals could be drawn for the match on Tuesday night ? Considering not many away fans will come withit being midweek.

I would hope so, if only to see M.K seen off and no reason for Morecambe to show this lot too much respect, the FAKE pretenders!

It would be great to have a few more there, but maybe need a couple more results before it happens.
Hope I am wrong though.

The loss in fans happened over several years, so it will be a slow recovery. Can't expect a stampede back after just one home win in 3 months.

Our hard core is around 1,400 this season which suggests some fans have come back or been drawn in.

The average gate so far is about 500 up on last seasons' final average although this improvement will reduce by the end of the season as there are no more big away followings to boost the gate. Grimsby may bring a few hundred but MK , Crawley , Cheltenham and Newport will only bring around 100.

Even the hardiest souls out in the open, might be persuaded to run for cover in such extreme circumstances, especially if the rain joins forces.

The hospitality deal has worked and is now sold out, although I suspect quite a few will stay indoors

Great stuff, we are having an exiting relegation battle and a resurgence in attendances, it could be that fans are returning because PMG has left the board maybe ??

A good and positive vibe about that....the sooner we are out of the relegation battle the better.

P.S. ..and if it is also exciting, that's a bonus.

I have never heard anyone say they were staying away because of PMG.
