The matchday experience

The matchday experience has been mentioned a few times on here and I just wondered what ideas if any people had to try and make a day out supporting the shrimps more enjoyable.
Getting to the ground will always be a problem for some but once inside the Globe there needs to be entertainment on offer particularly for the kids. For example could any of these be done around the front of the ground

A keepy uppy competition using either your head or feet.
Shooting footballs at targets
Magician
Balloons
Autograph signing by players not playing on that day

Also can we make more use of the big screen. For example
playing clips from memorable matches.
interviews with players
using a camcorder to spot faces in the crowd

No doubt others will have even better ideas. Over to you

Seen the face in the crowd thing before at Burnley , a good idea and the odds would be better at getting spotted at the Globe .

Some face's at the Globe are bad enough human size. Having them on a giant screen would be scary.

At Bolton they have 2 players who are not in the match day squad signing autographs and having pictures taken in the club shop before the game.

Making a lot more use of the screen would be an excellent idea.

Many (many) years ago I used to watch Valencia and fans went into the ground 90 minutes before kick off and enjoyed great entertainment, including highlights of the previous away game, music videos related to Valencia songs, mini interviews, advertisements, limited time offers for particular products such as pendants, a food item or a particular item from the shop that was brought into the stands and being sold at a discount fora set time like 15 mins after the announcement, a presenter getting everyone wound up for the match, behind the scenes news etc. It was loud and very entertaining.

Never impressed with the foodatn the globe. The pies are good, yes, but different flavours would be good instead of the usual meat and potato and chicken and leek.

The hot dogs are an absolute disgrace.No more said.

I cant understand why burgers are not served, especially as there no catering vans around the ground. In all honesty the food offerings at non-league grounds are better.

How about some cover on the Berlin Wall for those that don't like to watch the match from behind the goal. Totally agree about doing something for the kids, having taken 2 of my grandchildren on a few occasions and thought is that all there is for them? Christie the Cat if he is there, over priced hot dogs and drinks and the Shrimpettes before the game, nothing at half time.

Catbrock, there is a family area in the main stand solving that problem, and kids are free if accompanied by an adult.

But an extra £5 for the adult to sit in the family are of the PMG than stand in the Omega or Berlin Wall.

So when I go in the PMG I see it as £17 for me and £5 for the boy because if he wasn't with me I would stand.

Totally agree about there being nothing for the kids. I would like to see the players spend 5 mins or so before they go off before Kick off signing pics or posing for pics for the little ones. Hand out some post cards with their fav players on for the kids to get signed. My lad sits their bored out of his head at half time. He doesn't care for ELO and Slade so the music doesn't appeal either.

We hardly saw Christie and his bucket of Lidl sweets at all last season.
