Plymouth brought at least 700 on each occasion they have visited, so that’s as many as Lincoln, with Bradford replacing Bury, that evens itself out, surely?

I think Scunny brought a decent number last time but they were going for the title at the time.

Hopefully Tranmere will stay down and with the addition of Bradford and Fylde or Salford I can see away crowds being even bigger. Hope the Club also makes plans to potentially give away fans the Berlin Wall as required. I could see Carlisle and Bradford potentially selling 2000+ tickets and maybe one or two others too depending how the season plays out.

Why don't we just give Bradford, Carlise and any other big side the home seats and terraces? Our home fans will easily fit in the away section!
Don't worry be happy!

Businesses should maximise revenue streams. Let's be grown up and have a bit of flexibility when big away followings are expected. Personally, I'd like to see the Berlin Wall converted so it could be split into two when required or maybe even make it into one stand (a bit like Crawley) where you can move round from the home stand as far as the halfway line. This would then also free up 300+ tickets for away fans when required. The Club should also look at extending the wall at the back of the away end so they could increase the capacity back up to 1400.

I recall Rod Taylor many seasons ago saying he didn't want to make it like a home game for the big away teams.

If be tempted by a pragmatic decision to fill the stadium and take the cash.

Going from one stand to another like we did in the Conference at CP?, we cant Football league rules.

Don't know why they didn't do the away end like our home end with the concrete steps right down to ground level, also would of helped stop all the idiots attacking that space to use like a stage to show off then going onto the pitch.

Crawley's end stands are quite unique in that the stand curves around to cover part of the touch line. To quote Grounds Guide website:

Both ends are virtually identical, being small covered terraces that extend around both corners of the ground towards the West Stand, enclosing the stadium at those points.

I think therefore it could be legal to have the home end connecting to the Berlin Wall up until the turnstile block if they were somehow connected.

Like you say though, it makes sense to extend the away end capacity by re-positioning the wall at the rear and maybe even extending the terrace at the bottom.

:?: Four of us, with season tickets, have never gone in to a home game, without our tickets scanned.

Same here. Been in the home and North Terrace and always is scanned myself.

For example, myself, my 2 sons and my Dad went through on Saturday and none of us scanned our season tickets. I can't remember the last time we did.

How about removing the black sheeting from the B block of the PMG to release over a hundred seats. Have they ever been used at all? Ever? I think they remained covered and out of use in the Newcastle match and certainly that Southend match when they got half the Berlin wall. If they're never going to be used, what was the point of them?

That acts as segregation.

If you were to remove it you would have to employe a line of extra Match Day Stawards from top to bottom for safety reasons to segregate Home & Away fans.

Yes, I know what they're there for, but what's the point if they're never going to use them. Surely, if it's a sell out, the extra income will pay for a few more stewards. That must have been the plan when they built the stadium, otherwise why build it like that.
