Congrats to Chorley who beat Spenymoor on penalties over the weekend to gain entry into next seasons National league.

An age since we last played them but well remember games in the Uni Bond and having a few drinks in their clubhouse.

A historically strong, progressive (in recent times) Lancashire non-league club, that could potentially support a Football League side as they can certainly draw a crowd on their day.

Fantastic ground as well, very much remind me of Morecambe FC at Chrisite Park back in the day.

The Chorley main stand is very similar to our Christie main stand , probably built in a similar era.

They also have a grass bank down their "carwash" side.

I saw in the Lancashire Evening Post that Chorley will not be going full-time professional so this may result in a struggle to survive if the majority are of this status.

It would be a great pre-season friendly and quite a test.
