HT whistle now: 1-0

Songo’o clearance came off Lavelle I think, Straight to Salford player.... gets to the byline and slides a ball across. Might’ve been half stopped again by Knight-Percival, who could’ve done a big better IMO, before being smashed in from close range. Bad timing for the goal, but Salford look a lot better with the ball. Impressed so far with Toums and Songo’o in the middle. A-Jay also looking quite sharp considering he’s been out for so long.

Anyone else lost the Chuckle Brothers' commentary? Second half, I've got Salford commentary and no 'cog' to choose 'away'?

Away commentary is on. If you're watching on a laptop moving the cursor brings up the settings cog.
Hope that helps.

Weird, the cog was there before, but I switched computers and it isn't there now...

Swapped back to the original computer and it is there, so back to Freez & Glen.

Have Salford been diving all game?

Bit of a nothing game, but Salford were good for their win. From my calculations, they had 5 players who had started their previous league game and we just had Sam Lavelle. Turned out to be a good run out to get some game time in some of the legs - particularly pleased to see AJ get 80 minutes and Songo'o looks a good addition to break up play in the middle of the park. Halstead deserves a mention for some excellent saves.

On t'Saturday.

in Boxing terms Salford were a good sparring partner for facing Port Vale!

Poor first half before a decent second half I thought we were worth a goal from. Mixed bag of a game overall but at least it's only the Checkatrade!

Liking the look of Yann Songo'o. A few rusty 'getting back into the swing of things' moments but you could see he looks a quality player. Great at winning the ball in midfield and takes good care of the ball in possession too. Mark Halstead also had a very good game - couple of excellent stops and commanded his area well.

Slew solid again and Price had some good flashes when he came on. Brilliant to see AJ back too, he looked sharp and had some good moments!

Hendrie struggled again I thought. Very poor decision to dive in like that for their second goal. Think tonight confirmed our strongest full back pairing is probably Cooney and Gibson.
