Hopefully this post will escape the censor's.
I 100 percent agree with this BW.
It's great to be looking up for a change. What DA has done in the short time he's been here is remarkable. Always made me laugh when people said who could do a better job than the previous manager.
Over the last 5/6 years, we’ve been accustomed to just looking over our shoulder and thinking, “we can lose today and still be 3 points clear of 23rd.” Even when we did find ourselves at the top of the table at the beginning of a couple of seasons, we knew for sure that it was only a blip and were more focused on us already being a bit safer from relegation. Not once have I heard Derek mention relegation, lack of funds, scraping the barrel for players (I can’t believe a certain previous manager actually said that in public!...) - much the contrary! He has changed the entire mindset of the club!
BW put it perfectly - going to home games had started to feel like a chore and just something we had to do incase we did actually win for once and we’d have regretting not going. And when you look at the improvement seen by Wildig, Kenyon, Stockton, CMG, Steve Old etc., the players must love it!
