Morecambe 3 [Wildig, Diagouraga, Stockton] Carlisle 1

Another good game to watch. Sat back/pushed back too much at the start & end, but played really well in between time. Plenty of candidates for MotM, but Songo'o or Wildig would be my choice.

Typical! iFollow didn't fire up the adverts as soon as the whistle blew and Freez & Glen didn't bother with much of a round up! But at half-time, the ads came on almost immediately while they were talking about the game! Surely it can't be too hard for iFollow to coordinate things?

So how did that work out then?

Brilliant result, performance less so but we keep accumulating points.

We're like the posse from Butch Cassidy and Sundance kid (Who are those guys?) :)

Well and truly delighted with that, played the 1st half perfectly not allowing them a shot on target and getting at their defence once we'd settled into it.

Wildig again standing out, another goal for toums and how could I forget songo'o winning almost every ball, our midfield was superb and we looked a real threat every time we went forward.
4 wins from our last 5 going into two massive games against Forest Green and Newport, wouldn't be surprised if we got 4 points from those two. COYS!

Well done and a fully deserved 3 points against a poor and sad looking Carlisle.

Just a pity that we allowed them to grab a goal late on but does that take out goal difference to +1 .... :?: :?: :?:

Radio Cumbria commentators had to admit that we were by far the better team after we opened the scoring. Their fans want a change of manager already.

Forest Green on Tuesday, so another 6 pointer.... :!: :!: :!:

Thought Songo'o was immense today. My man of the match. Battles and fights for every ball. Positions himself brilliantly. Another really good Wildig performance too. Forest Green Tuesday then? Mouthwatering. Loving this season. I'm seeing far more of the footy - usually gobbing off on the terrace and miss key moments. Maybe lockdown has taught me to be more attentive once we get back in.
