Good target, tough but doable.

I think that's the right mentality, challenge ourselves with a point target and if we make it then see where that leaves us. Better than focusing on other teams each week.

18 more points means 6 wins out of 12, lets start with one today!

It's better than setting a target of 50 points at the beginning of a season and wondering if we can achieve it

Indeed.

Dog turds & glass on a flooded Turner's Field. Crazy Italians with underwater casinos. Middle Eastern university students buying the club from a Brazilian who didn't own it. Players & management not getting paid. Owners making it clear that the management weren't going to get their contract renewed no matter what. Wondering how we managed to avoid administration or even going completely out of business. It's amazing we survived at all, even more so that we managed to stay in the Football League.

Dark days indeed. I'm glad Derek doesn't have to go through that chaos.

Derek just picked us up off the bottom of the league then had to endure a halted season! Thankfully all the new sponsors appeared, where were they when JB was in charge of our 50 points charge?

I think the club found it too easy with Jim to play the little old Morecambe card because he was one of us and they knew he would put up with poor facilities etc and I think this is why a change was good because who ever came in wouldnt put up with that and it would mean we would have to up our game in all areas.

When you say "the club", are you referring to Peter McGuigan or the guys from Essex or the solicitor in the North East or the student from the Middle East or the Brazilian or the Italian with the underwater casino?

I do agree with you, I don't think Derek would have put up with any of that.

if we get to the play-offs, Derek Adams should be named L2 Manager of the season.

such a turn around, in such a short time.

Thanks to a vast improvement in off the pitch affairs the job had a lot of potential for the right man, Derek was/is the right man.

I'd agree with that completely! A good bounce back next week and we'll be on course for that high finish :D
