Last 5 games in league 2 (possible 15 points)

Bolton 10
Morecambe 7
Cheltenham 7
Newport 6
Tranmere 6
Exeter 4
Forest Green 3

From possible 105 points that's only 43 points taken from them clubs above

Squeeky bum time for all clubs that's for sure

I am sure the manager has his reasons for not doing so but I would have thought introducing some fresh legs in last 15-20 minutes would have made sense.

This is what Mark Molesley (Southend manager had to say).....

We were up against a very good Morecambe side who are riding high in the play-offs and they’ve got some really good attacking players and threat, and that’s why they’re up there. We blocked them out for large spells of the game, but I’ve got to give credit to their striker, Stockton, it’s a great finish at the end of the day and he’s probably one of the better strikers we’ve played against, that’s for sure.

As fans we always expect a manager to use his subs if we want to win a game when its 1-1 HOWEVER we sometimes have to respect our manager's decisions and the logic behind it IF it is explained to use post match.

A big thanks is due to DA in this case as being one of the very few manager's we've had to explain his reasoning and when explained we can understand his way of thinking. He is after all the master tactician and to date he's got it right 99% of the time.

Molesley to be replaced by the Terracotta, ear piece wearing Phil Brown according to Twitter

I thought Southend played well the other night but it's a result based business and no room for sentiment...
