Most Donny fans are targeting this game as their first win of the season !!!!

Would be happy with that line-up except I'd probably stick with Andresson. It really depends upon the psychology/type of player he is, but generally, I think a 'get back on the horse' type approach would be best at the moment. Don't forget, he was MotM two games ago.

So how did that work out then?

Wootton was outstanding last night giving instructions and excellent distribution so he'd be in my team in place of (surprise surprise) O'Connor.

Also Mensah looked impressive and assured as an alternative to Delaney but SR will not change both centre backs I suspect.

All our loanees did themselves proud but of the pick McPake was just ahead of the others.

Once again McDonald could have released the ball a lot quicker and despite some excellent close control the end product could have been better.

However having just listened to SR's post match Radio Lancashire interview I wouldn't hold out for many if any changes from last Saturday...

its early days a new squad sometimes you have to show faith and allow them that maybe got it wrong put it right
as a new manager he has to show faith in his players you cant just turf them out for one bad day
i suspect the new skipper is probably the or one of the top earners at the club for his experience and his all over role
you cant just toss him to one side
its not often you get it right but your wrong again :)

The manager started with Delaney and O'Connor at Ipswich (Lavelle on the bench) so he obviously has confidence in them. I agree it was a bit of a mare against a very useful Dons forward line, but it's early days and I feel they need more time before we consider wholesale changes.

No need to panic just yet.

No point in having a squad of 28 unless you are prepared to change when an individual performs so badly in on the field leadership especially when someone is sitting on the bench who showed leadership last night and an excellent range of passing to its man.

Did you actually go to last nights game because even you  would have to admit that Wootten deserves a starting place v Doncaster ....... :?: :?: :?:

It's not often YOU get it right....but you are wrong AGAIN....

Ticket info for those have purchased match tickets in advance online for Saturday..... you may have been sent an e-ticket by the club at the time you made your purchase. This is automatically generated by the clubs ticketing system, and will not work/gain you entry to the stadium at Doncaster. You still need to collect your match ticket from the MFC club shop before 16:40 tomorrow, or alternatively from the away ticket collection point at Doncaster Rovers stadium from 13:00 on the day.

I only mention this because having received an e-ticket myself I made the assumption that this would get me into the ground. This is not the case, and only confuses matters. Having collected my ticket today (would have collected on Saturday vs Wimbledon had I known) there are quite a few envelopes waiting to be collected - so perhaps others are in a similar situation? The good thing is that we appear to have sold a few tickets..... and with 3 or 4 coaches going, maybe a decent following? Just over 2 hours drive, should be a good game cheering on the lads.... get yourself there if you can.

If you have not already purchased tickets and can not get down to the club shop today/tomorrow (you should always look to buy away tickets from the club where you can, as they receive a small commission for selling), then you can pay on the day - I believe there is no price increase. You will need to queue at the ticket office (rather than the collection point - everybody loves a queue!), as the turnstiles themselves are cashless.

I have printed off my ticket for Crewe and also have a QR code for entry as well

Crewe ticket office told me this would be fine

Perhaps Crewe don’t have ticket scanners, and will manually accept tickets for their home game issued by Morecambe Football Club? I can’t see the QR code working like it does to enter our stadium to scan yourself in - because this is something the club has generated internally. I would be very surprised if our system is integrated with other clubs stadiums…. Who remembers that pissing cat walking across the screen? The e-ticket obviously doesn’t have a designated seat number on it.

The club has now communicated that you need to collect online ticket sales for Doncaster from the club shop, or alternatively the away ticket office on the day. I wish they had done this sooner, but to be honest I don’t think they initially realised that e-tickets were being issued, based on what the lad at the club shop said to me…. They look exactly the same as tickets for home games.
