If Leigh is out for couple more games that is a worry. We were very weak at left back today and Gibson had a mare. Hopefully we can rethink line up in next couple of days!

A player can have a below par performance, but Gibson got better as the game went on and has been a good player for our team this season

I thought Cooney and Maclaughlin and Delaney could all switch sides in defence
Also I think Gibson composed himself after his penalty gaff,
And he’s been pretty solid whenever he’s played so I would stick with gibbo

No need to panic at all. Gibbo was a stand out performer last season and has started well this season. I think the midfield will be interesting with Shane suspended. I hope Wildig is fit and he slots in alongside Toums and Adam. How good is it to see Adam influencing games again?

Gibson had a torrid 25 minutes that was even more noticeable given how solid he's been since he signed. But what was pleasing was that he seemed to recover a bit and find his feet, and played ok for the rest of the game.

Cooney can play LB pretty well as we've seen on quite a number of occasions, although I'm happy enough sticking with Gibson as we've seen enough good stuff from him to know that those first 25 mins were an exception. Will be interesting to see if SR opts to stick with McLaughlin at RB or goes back to Cooney on Tuesday.

I'd expect McCalmont to replace McLoughlin and am very much looking forward to having him and Phillips working in tandem a bit. It's a combo I'm interested in as I think they might dovetail nicely with Phillips being more about getting forward and McCalmont having more a tendency to drop a little deeper and pull strings. I would have liked to have seen it before now, but you can't really argue against McLoughlin having been a starter as he's had a good season so far.

I would like to see McPake back in tomorrow night. Mcalmont you would think would be ahead of Jones for a start though I do feel for Jones' limited chances so far. He was great second half at Rovers when we went 3 5 2. I would also stick with Gibbo

Letheren

Cooney
O Connor
Wooton
Gibson

Toums
Philips
Alfie

Arthur
Cole
McPake

Just great to have choices and a replacement that can come on that's equal or better than subbed player, choices to change a game too.

Liam for me

I think Wes could start and Jonah come on again to build fitness

Need Cole constantly fit of course
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Shane will be banned now so probably start with Alfie , Toums and Adam in midfield

Not a bad starting midfield in my opinion

Like the gaffer says he’s starting to get options back
