Nightmare repeat of the AFC Wimbledon last minute winner.

Can't blame Ayunga who showed enough promise that he will be a threat in the future.

Entertainment is what we craved for last few seasons so can't complain when it's delivered in bucket loads.

Defense played far too deep in the last 45 and with the experience in there they should have controlled the game from the back better.

Still half way in the league so no real damage done except possibly to moral and pride.

Will be more ups and down to come but if we are all honest did we really expect to be where we are in the league... :?: :?: :?:

Could be wrong but I suspect with the amount of scouting WW did regarding the possibility of signing Sam that they knew our weakness and made the most of it.

:( :( :(

Perhaps I am harsh on Ayunga, but he had two players in scoring positions alongside, he saw the net bulging for him, a rush of blood!
It was just the way that the breakout led to them grabbing the three points. Oh well, it was exciting though, onto the next one. Onwards and upwards.

...and if he had passed to either and they missed, the reaction of here would have been 'why the hell did he pass'..... so no blame from me for having the courage in his belief that he would score.

No official figure but prob 150ish we sold 90 tickets in advance.

Looking at the goals I don't think there was a foul on Kyle for the 3rd he just got caught out, apparently we were aware the wycombe player tries to score direct from corners. Kyle should have done better for the first and I think its O'connor that gets beaten by Vogts to the cross for the 2nd so I think 3 goals were preventable.

Should Ayunga have passed maybe but who knows one of the others might have missed. Maybe we should have time wasted instead but you could tell even at 3v3 there was always going to be more goals.

Don`t blame Ayunga at all - He had just scored a very good goal to equalise so thought he could win the game for us

3 - 3 would have been a fair result in my opinion

We must tighten up at the back but we look like we will score in most games (we still have Obika, Harrison and Duffus to come back as well) plus Wildig

We are pretty close to been a very good side - but football is all about fine margins

So far in the 14 games we have played .. Scored 24 Conceded 24 (we wanted better football / entertainment) and we are certainly getting that

Obviously, it is easier to be magnanimous when you are on the winning end of a 4-3 thriller, but the Wycombe forum is a good read, with plenty of complimentary comments about us. Some of their fans were even decent enough to say they wouldn't have begrudged us a draw and plenty saying if we continue to play like that, we will be 'top ten', which I reckon we'd all be happy with. Even one of their posts pointing out that if Jonah had played Cole in at the end, they'd have been looking at the wrong end of a 3-4

I agree that 3-3 would have been a fairer result. But 3-4 would have been better!

Doesn’t really matter about the miss at the end, Wycombe should have been dead and buried in the first half. Liam Gibson could have crossed; Adam Phillips should have scored a second; and we could have avoided the offside. Should have been at least 3 up.

Then as Kyle has said himself, if he hadn’t let their shot go under him for the first or let the third go over him we wouldn’t be having the debate now.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda but two days on it was a sickening one to lose.
