Sorry but he was like this the other week.

Very concerning to criticise any of our players on a day like today. He wasn't slow last week reacting very quickly to steer a deflected shot in with hardly any time to react. Great job done by all today.

Noticed how I haven't said anything about McLaughlin who works his socks off?

Really proud of the lads. A 'fluke' or 'sheer brilliance' for the first goal and two errors to let Spurs get out of jail. After the game, as I walked away from the ground a Spurs fans said to me "really well done [Morecambe]. You really put the s**t up us".

Spurs were forced to bring on the big guns to get back in to it.

Now we need to focus on the League. Playing with the determination that we showed today, and we will be fine. Looking forward to Match of the Day, probably make it look like Spurs were all over us, but we know better!

2nd goal was a mistake on the half way line but personally thought the 3rd goal was a foul on Leigh near the corner flag but hey ho

Proud of every single one of them. Personally think all three goals of theirs were avoidable. Does anyone know how many from Morecambe yesterday?

The dream was on yesterday. And it felt bloody good. To anyone who thinks the magic of the cup is dead. Just look at the Spurs away section when AOC scores.

All 3 goals avoidable, the boys played their socks off. Did not think we'd be coming out of that game disappointed we hadn't won!

The new boys looked very good, positive signs for the remainder of the season.

For me, it shows what the team are capable of when they have the fans behind them. It's down to us to get them up for it every game now.

Only my opinion but when Cooney and the new lad went off we didn't look that confident that we could hold on. Cooney in particular left the right side somewhat exposed and may have been around to have altered the Spurs play down that side but he had given his all as had every other member of our team on the day.

Match of the Day last night complimented us on our set up which was good to hear as I feared it would all have been about Spurs and agreed that their big guns where needed to give them the result.

An awesome team performance by the mighty Shrimps! Very proud of the way they played and competed on the big stage against a top team. Credit to Steve R for the team set-up and tactics, and to Diarmuid O for leading procedures and making decisions on the day. I guessed substitutions were made as, both Toums and Ryan C were on yellow cards, to put fresh legs and energy into a tiring team, but also to give as many subs a run-out on this magnificent occasion - they all so deserved. There were many magnificent performances by our players. I too thought Greg L was fouled leading up to their last goal. The fans were brilliant and even the BBC for once were not belittling! All can be proud and can now carry this form into the league. UTMS!!!

At the time I was confused with the subs but looking back it probably was to do with the yellow cards and hasn't Cooney just recovered from an illness.

Still would have kept Toums on though Diarmuid said we stopped passing towards the end which is what always happens when Toums isn't playing and is the reason SR has brought him back into the starting lineup.

Still crazy to think we are sat here slightly disappointed and wondering what could have been.

very true about Toums, his passing rubs off on the others and is vital to our game plan !

What a day, what a club and what a performance.

Everybody at the club should be proud of everything that happened yesterday, on and off the field. The club deserve praise for getting the coaches and getting us all there. I'm sure there was the odd whinge but overall a great effort.

The players were immense and take the moral victory. I'm pretty sure that Harry Kane didn't expect to have to lace his boots up but he and Moura(in my best Ally McCoist voice-What a player by the way) had to come on to even it up. The lads deserve all the praise coming their way.

The fans turned up in numbers and made some proper noise. Really jealous of the lads who made a weekend of it, it seemed to get quite messy. My one gripe is we stopped singing when they scored and seemed more interested in gesturing at their fans. Great noise for 78mins though.

Every Spurs fan we came across in our mission to find a pub willing to serve away fans was brilliant. Had some good laughs and footy chats. I think we found the only pub in London selling pints for less than £3!

A great day that will live long in the memory.

This is why we follow our club. We were all gutted last season when we couldn't visit Chelsea so to actually make it to Spurs and their magnificent stadium (in my opinion better than Wembley) was a dream come true. To give them such a battle was something else again!

Any Spurs fans we spoke to after the game were more than complimentary about us so all in all a superb weekend.

It's all about constant improvement and in years to come we will see fans posting about their first ever Morecambe game at Spurs and being a Shrimp ever since!

COYS!
