Really interesting stuff Doc for an old timer. Anyone watching football from probably 2000 onwards wouldn't recognise the scary World you describe. Back in the 70's 80's and 90's going to a match could be a very dangerous past time. Thankfully now it's a much more family friendly past time!

For my sins I followed both Morecambe and Don Revies' Leeds in the mid 70's. Fortunately I got Dirty Leeds out of my system in my early 20's and for the last 40 odd years I've been exclusively Morecambe and couldn't give a stuff about Leeds. So I've been there through the thick and the thin.

What a club we are though! Must say we are as strong now as ever and after the scary shenanigans of Lemos, Cala etc' in 2017 we are currently thriving.
