Oldham fans seem to have been fond of him from his spell with them in League One! They all pretty much agree with what Robbo hinted in his interview - not pretty on the eye, but does the dirty work incredibly well.
Gives us a few different options in midfield. Could go for a really solid base between Fane and Toums (or even McLoughlin) and give someone like Phillips lots more freedom in attack. Maybe Fane and McCalmont would allow him to play his game a bit more. Could even go towards something like last season when we had Songo'o sitting behind Wildig and Phillips. Important to note though that our midfield played superbly last night, although perhaps Fane might be a useful addition to the XI against a more direct side like Wycombe.
In terms of more signings, another CB would be very welcome. Bedeau was brilliant again yesterday, but if him or AOC get an injury/lose form then we're back to relying on Delaney.
Agree with Robbo that a new wideman with a bit of pace is needed for a bit of variance/depth in attack. Ayunga has loads of potential and has played well and worked hard of late, but can be a little inconsistent as he is still developing. I like Arthur and enjoy his link play, but there are things that he doesn't bring that it would be useful to have from another winger, at the very least to challenge and provide an alternate option.
