Overall I didn’t think we deserved to win and it was a poor performance. However character shown once again and teams who get promoted often grind out results when they don’t deserve it, I think Morecambe put a lot into that and played above themselves as they looked shattered and devastated at the end. I said the other day that Stockton could be the next Bogle but having watched him tonight I thought he was excellent, had good control and gave our centre halves a hard time. Unfortunately for Morecambe I don’t think he’ll be there much longer. Our motm for me was Amos.

Certainly the first 45 and up until their subs came on.....very much like Spurs

Oh, if we play like that and win in any game for the rest of this season I’ll take it.
Starting Saturday please :D

Pretty fair assessment. I'm fine with losing Stockton to be honest as long as it's not now but in the summer and we get a decent fee for him. Equally if he wants to stay, I'll be delighted with that too.

The problem is we play better against the good teams usually (except MK) but still don't manage to get a result.

When we play the poorer teams like Crewe and Doncaster first half we don't play to the same standard as against the decent teams.

Regarding our 2nd and their manager having a complain about it I can only imagine it was the nudge into the centre half's back as the ball dropped. Dont know how he saw it from 50 yards away as we were only 5 yards directly behind the goal. It was clever, I'm glad he did it, but technically a foul. My first reaction was look at the ref.

So their fans thought it was a foul too.

So how did that work out then?
