Refs

Refs

So it appears that the EFL refs association are one sided in their favour

Matt Donohue had a mare officiating our game against Ipswich

Had a mare in the Preston game last week ( I’m not a PNE fan )
And just awarded a pen when the bloke was first to the ball

Seems the whole system is always stacked in the refs favour,
if it wasn’t this guy would be stepped down until he proved himself
Rant over :D

Whilst not defending the “poor” performance by Chris Sarginson on Tuesday night, his appointment to officiate this Saturday had already been announced prior to our game against Bolton. The interesting appointments will be if he gets a game(s) this coming week or will be stood down?

Looks like the EFL are clueless
Tuesday 15th appointments

Birmingham City v Middlesbrough (19:45)
DARREN BOND
Richard Wild and Lee Venamore
Fourth Official : Matthew Donohue

West Bromwich Albion v Fulham (20:00)
MATTHEW DONOHUE
Philip Dermott and Paul Hodskinson
Fourth Official : Benjamin Speedie

Exeter City v Crawley Town (19:45)
BENJAMIN SPEEDIE
Alex James and Robert Dabbs
Fourth Official : James Durkin

Is it any wonder the standard of referring is so poor when the EFL don’t know who’s where :D :D :D

I don't think Sarginson made poor calls due to poor performance, he made poor calls due to being intimidated by Ian Evatt. Refs make mistakes every week but it is wrong for a Ref to be too weak to ref fairly because he is scared of a Manager.
