We will not beat Sunderland, as they will be going for it as anything other than play-offs are a disaster for them.

Rotherham will be going for it at Gillingham - with championship title, automatic promotion or play-offs at stake which helps.

Fleetwood go to a Bolton side, giving their all, with nothing to play for.

We have proved we can mix it with the big boys on our own patch and I can really see us beating a nervous Sunderland. What an end to the season that would be!

18/1 now with Skybet for us to go down, we're massive outsiders now.
In fact stick a tenner on, then if it all goes wrong at least your season ticket is paid for next season.
However I cannot see Gillingham or Fleetwood getting the wins they need.

I'm not, at all, a betting man but that sort of idea looks tempting. Is there a better way of doing it, though?
Like individual bets on Gillingham win, Fleetwood win and Morecambe loss - a treble?

The treble would get you about 23/1.

You will be reet.

Bolton will be going all out for a victory, Fleetwood are not well liked in these parts and IE is all about winning. Added to that the players are signing off at home so all the families will be there and the traditional lap of honour is always better when they have won.

DA has as I expected turned the season around for you, and I suspect all at the start of the season would have taken survival with the opportunity to build next season. We would have taken mid table back in August, and the end of season form has been a bonus, expectations next season will be high but there are some big teams heading this way next season.

Good luck for the weekend and next season

Hello Catte, yes at the start of the season the vast majority of us would have snatched your hand off to still be in EFL 1 next season! Our squad was cobbled together at the last minute after DA jumped ship, hardly ideal! I sincerely hope you stuff Fleetwood for obvious reasons but didn’t realise you had issues with them? For a small town they can be a nasty bunch though. Knew you had issues with Blackpool going back many years but why Fleetwood? Anyway just stuff them will ya please and hopefully take the lovely Mr Pilley down a peg or two!

Finally it’s nice to talk with a decent Bolton fan. Hopefully the incidents earlier in the season can be put to rest and we can resume some form of good terms next season! All the best.

I don't think the squad was cobbled together but it was rushed. I think Robinson got most of what he wanted in the summer but he couldn't work his self proclaimed magic on them. Hey payed money for Jonah, hand picked Duffus from non league and chucked a wedge of the budget on the likes of AOC and Obika. We heard time and again that he had watched his sigings prior to getting the job here.

Cobbled or rushed it's all semantics. Fact remains that by the time he started assembling a squad a substantial chunk of the close season had elapsed. It seemed incredible that it took 2-3 weeks to sign 19 players with what seemed indecent haste. Not blaming Steven Robinson , that's the hand he was dealt and he had to act fast before the transfer window closed. For me by and large his loan signings in the early part of the season promised a lot but delivered little. McAlmont and McPake plus Jokull seemed masterstrokes but never quite took off. Jones also never truly impressed.

In short thank goodness for the footballing genius known as Stockton without whom we'd have been relegated by February!

Who knows what next season will bring. DA can possibly work another footballing miracle and keep us competitive. We live in hope and at take comfort in the fact that the club still seems on an upward trajectory!

Fleetwood have more than their share of knobs, I know we all have them and we have quite a few of our own. As I go to many away games our knobs seem to be on the increase, to an extent they are kept in check but alas on occasion they act intolerably, the club and Sharon is very active in excluding those that are captured being knobs. Many of our fans will try and keep the banter to correct banter levels but some get a sniff of the barmaids apron and things get messy. The majority of us are ok but it is the knobs that get the headlines.

We had some bad blood with Blackpool and one lad lost his life which is absolutely unacceptable and has perpetuated the bad blood, I went to college in the area and have some really good friends who follow that mob, probably the fact both clubs have had hideous owners in the recent past brought the fans closer as we both almost lost our clubs.

Anyway will be at the game and hoping that we are able to make your end of season more comfortable.
Take care

Fleetwood fans caused a lot of trouble in their away match at Accrington this season.

Some of them were punching ordinary members of the public in Accrington town centre. They just about destroyed the toilets at the Wham Stadium too.

Obviously this is a minority of Fleetwood fans but totally out of order. I think I still prefer Gillingham to go down though.

And the hand he accepted/wanted until times got tough/he was found out. Don't give that shithouse any credit or empathy.

SR deserves no credit and his record at our club and St Mirren shows he has no managerial qualities apart from talking a good job. Tactically he was poor and after analysing performances he seemed unable to improve anything. I suspect he won’t be in management for too long!
