Sad to see him leave. A nice bloke and a good player. Good luck to him in the future.

Had a slow start in poor teams and struggled to keep fit but his talent was obvious. Once Derek came in he started to show his true quality. Was unreal under Derek and then misused or bombed out by Robinson. Played a massive part in us staying up and wore the armband with pride. Top top player, really sad to see him leave but can't argue with his reasons.

Arron was a top player for our club and he was the glue that gelled the team together. Good luck in the future Arron and thanks for helping our team to advance.

Words can't express our sincere best wishes to a player who has served his and our club through many contrasting seasons.

THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES and the BEST OF LUCK IN WHATEVER YOUR CONTINUED CAREER BRINGS YOU.

Disappointing to see Aaron leave although it did seem likely from the various reports and he usually signs up fairly quick. Derek will have known he was likely to be leaving and probably identified a decent replacement.

Massive loss this but understandable . When we needed him the most he stepped up massively. Leaders needed in the transfer window. In Derek we trust!

One of the best and most underrated players I’ve seen at Morecambe. We always looked a better team when he played. Absolutely gutted he has gone….

Been brilliant under Derek and scored some important goals. Will be sadly missed with some great memories. Wish him well for the future. In replacements I would be looking at Davis-Keillor- Dunn of Oldham. His track record their has been excellent and scored 15 goals last season. Still at a young age to develop as well.

It was a master stroke by Derek making him captain last season and might even have been what kept us up.

He was prob nailed on to be captain next season as long as he could stay fit.

Great servent who always did a job despite us probably never playing a style that suited him.

Absolutely gutting, been a vital player over the past few years and stuck with the club through some tough times.

Brilliant under Adams, and after struggling with injury for the first half of this season he made a huge difference when returning to the midfield in January - very noticeably coming on at half time vs Doncaster! Was all set to be a key man under Adams going into next season - will be a big miss.

Glad he's been able to finish his Morecambe career on two highs of promotion and survival, as well as being captain for the last few games. It's pretty meaningless playing wise (what matters is that he's on the pitch), but emotionally it's a nice thing to end it on.
