No chance of that with the cattle market going on near the back bar 8-) If the skirts keep getting shorter and the blouses lower they will soon be meeting in the middle

Nice split infinitive Keith...

Someone recently tried to explain to me what a 'split infinitive' was. They had similar success as my English teacher about thirty years ago!   I decided that having got this far in life not knowing what an infinitive was to be split, I needed to not worry!    ;)

So how did that work out then?

What was with the booing of Rene Howe - more than slightly harsh IMO. I voted for his goal because it was the best feeling when it went in, can't take anything away from Hunter's though, stunning strike.

Probably because, as it turned out, he couldn't be arsed, thought he was much better than he was, and had his head right up his backside. If his application matched hes opinion of himself, or even his potential ability, he could be playing at a much higher level.

The booing of Rene from the players behind me was pretty telling as to their opinion of him.

Unfortunatley she's on her way back to Finland now , but she had a good day out apart from the football :D on Saturday and met some nice people including your good self . Wayno's dad introduced her to the players that were in the York who were good enough to have a chat , had a bit of a problem with Jimbo's accent :D and she wasn't quite sure what to make of Peter Johnson  who wanted to take her home :o .

I agree that the booing of Rene Howe was a tad harsh and if the players were joining in then perhaps the 'tremendous team spirit' that Sammy mentioned is a bit of an illusion.

I also voted for the fine goal against Bradford, lovely to re-live the only euphoric feeling all season.... Garry Hunter's strike was special tho the keeper was unsighted.
