As good as our passing was in the first-half, it's gone to rat-poo since we scored.

Connolly was being fouled. Ref played 'advantage', Connolly's pass goes straight in to touch... throw in???

Slew just blazzed over!

A draw probably a fair result. We were on top until we scored, but then Accrington were best. Good game.

Could have won it. Should have won it. Happy with a point after several dubious ref decisions going Accys way. Good competitive match. Onward Shrimps!!

We bossed the game until they scored and then roles were reversed.

The referee was crap..... :?: :?: :?:

Must rank as one of the worst we have seen to date but no doubt our Accy fans will think he was excellent given the number of free kicks he gave to them.

I'm beginning to think that the referees union have made it their mandate to punish us whenever they can due to DA's post match comments on a regular basis.

Beyond me how anyone can think a draw was fair from last night!

Absolutely battered Stanley for most of the game and created way more chances. Their only good chance was the penalty, which came from our error. True, they shut up shop and killed the game off nicely after equalising, but that doesn’t make them worthy of a point.

Shame to miss out on two more thoroughly deserved points, but very happy with the standard of performance overall.

It's great to see Jake Taylor getting plenty of game time , hopefully his injuries are in the past.

He could be the successor to Aaron Wildig that we have been craving. There's something about his play that is similar to Aaron.

Other than Slew blazing over, did we have any opportunities after we scored our goal? We could, and should, have wrapped the game up in the first half. But, whether we were sitting back, knackered, or Accrington pushing forwards more, from when we scored, they were on top. Yes, they scored from a soft penalty to give away, but they were looking most likely to score during that period.

Both sets of players were exhausted at the end and gave it everything.

A rather strange game and two conflicting styles of play.

We played out from the back into our midfield and then to our forwards with the ball played mainly to feet and on the ground.

Accy bypassed their midfield as well as ours with the use of the long ball over our heads to their front men.

On the night both styles were effective for periods of the game.

DA's chosen style was pleasing to the eye with some excellent passing and close control which we've rarely seen fromm our lads over the past few seasons.

No, but neither did Accrington. They were effective at killing the game after equalising (fair but fortuitous penalty from an unforced error). Worth mentioning that Accrington had one shot inside our box in the entire second half, which was the penalty.

Lost momentum when Accrington scored, and they did a good a job of killing the game afterwards for the final 20 minutes. Doesn’t make them worthy of a point - nowhere near! The quality of chances we created throughout the game were vastly superior (numbers back this up too).
