I know our national team doesn't interest some on here but it really was a very good game last night. We have a exciting attack and are definitely in with a chance go winning the Euros. :D

If you are referring to me, it was support for a homophobic, misogynistic, oppressive regime that I objected to, not the national team.

I agree, I thought during the game, we have a really good chance of success next year... ...and where better to do it!

So how did that work out then?

It's good to qualify with ease and games to spare particularly after suffering through periods of scraping through or not qualifying at all.

Southgate has a plethora of talent, spent most of my life in hope, but we know what happens when we get to the last few hurdles.
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Agreed! Spent fifty odd years of my life living in hope of a major success but we always fall short. Used to go and watch them live in my younger days but nowadays probably wouldn't open the curtains to watch if they were playing on my back lawn.

I still tune in to the latter stages of the major tournaments but far too many false dawns and disappointments over the years to get the hopes up too much!

What? Is it a shock to you that Qatar is a homophobic, misogynistic, oppressive regime? Did you sleep through it?
