GED’s first ten games in the League.

GED’s first ten games in the League.

10 league games in for Ged and with some of the opponents we have played and probably knowing we were going to lose 5 players in the New Year and then having to bring in five, how’s he done?

The likes of; Wrexham, Stockport, MK Dons (twice), not easy games.

Sorry Ged but this is the League form (but two great wins away in the FA Cup).

Played 10; Won 2; Drawn 4, Lost 4. 10 points. (5 points in last 3 with his suttle changes here and there.

Well a baptism of fire, no doubt, but we are in a decent posin the league and after Tues nights very hard game, 8 games to the end of February where we certainly will be looking to get back up the league.

It will be good to here others thought’s, great away win today, well done to Ged and his team.

One of the smallest clubs in the football league in terms of support and finances, have an owner who does not want to own us and losing all our loan players. No excuses but we should have won all our previous ten games by at least seven goals to nil. In fact, if we are not in the Premier League by a week next Tuesday I will buy the club. I've got a couple of pounds stashed away and and quite happy to spend my Mothers monthly state pension to bank roll the club!

Don’t be facetious when you start your negotiations with JW. I’m sure you think your the right person to take over.

Thanks BB, but I'm definitely not the right person to take over the club. Football fans can be very fickle, lose one game and it's all doom and gloom, win a game and we are heading for the play offs. For me, because I look at the bigger picture surrounding the club, I would be more than happy with mid table. Ged is doing a great job, win, lose or draw.

I think Ged has made a good start. He has replaced key players who have returned to their parent clubs and seems to have a good spirit in the squad. He has brought in some good players and I thought his substitutions yesterday swung the game to us. Given all the nonsense that has been going on off the pitch, on the pitch prospects are looking promising.

Yep he’s doing ok,
it’s early days and some tough fixtures
And give the bloke a chance

Folk saying we should have gone for experienced manager, Ged is a novice blah blah

Just remember Sir Alex,Southgate,Pep.etc. They were all novices once
