Great bit of publicity. Well done to whoever arranged for that.

Good piece but already out of date. The much needed Football Governance Bill has now died due to the General Election being called.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

A good piece by GB news, thanks to GB news for the exposure and to all those who contributed.

A update especially this week with the JW/Shrimps Trust meeting.

Shame the likes of BBC and Sky can't give us a similar exposure a small clip on sky repeated every hour would be amazing but they are only interested in the premiership.

Excellent......more of the same and I particularly like the way they actually showed Jason rather than just refer to him.

The Bill would not have been in time to save us. By the time it's past and a Regulator in place it would have been 2026 at the earliest.

The press we are getting is fantastic and hopefully it will continue. I just wish that somebody would doorstep the Clown and put him under some pressure. He can't be that hard to track down and be questioned.

Great to be in the news even if they can't spell Morecambe correctly.
Wonder how they found David Morris?
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

General Election coming, so he has to visit the town.
Has he visited since he finished single-handedly building the bypass?

Exactly, and you'll note he's still using his "preferred pronoun" of "we". ;)

Well he did actually campaign to get the damn thing finally built which is more than Geraldine Smith did in her 13 years as MP (I seem to recall she objected to it!)

Spot on , She was an utter waste of space for 13 years. She should have stayed at the Post Office behind the counter.

I was never a Smith fan either! She deliberately blocked the bypass being built, because she was thick as mince.

I was aghast when she was all over the TV the day of the Chinese Cockle picking tragedy! I'd written to her three times in the months leading up to it (as well as writing to local councillors etc) to make them aware of what was happening in the Bay, but just got meaningless letters back from her with lots of words but no substance and no action. Then on the TV she was blaming everyone else and making out she didn't know what was happening out there! Waste of space.

Trouble is, people liked her because she'd occasionally be sat in the Asda entrance talking to random people, probably about irrelevances and other nonsense, yet failed miserably to deal with the big issues such as the cockle pickers and the by pass.

And yes, the 13 years she was our MP were probably the worst years for the loss of amenities and downfall of Morecambe!

Funny how she was so keen and committed about Morecambe during her 13 years as MP and probably a decade or so beforehand as a councillor, but once she wasn't an MP anymore, she's not been seen nor heard of for dust! Probably busy spending her gold plated MP's pension/severance pay!
