Just noticed they've been relegated from the Vanarama National League to National League North.
They were a league 1 club in 2018.

Oh how the once mighty have fallen from grace. :( :( :(

Shows for me how important it is to have a manager who knows the leagues and is supported by the club's BoD.

May have issues about DA's playing style but can't think of anyone more suited to keep us in the EFL...at least for another season.

Telford United dropping from Conference North to the pub League that Lancaster are in.

I remember Mark Quayle wanting to sign for Telford because they were "so ambitious"

In relative terms, Telford United were an ambitious club at that time - their then owner, Andy Shaw, poured £ millions into the club; trying to bankroll them through the divisions, completely redeveloping their home ground which even now puts others in the EFL to shame (its rather similar to our own - I actually think it looks more complete!). It all went tits up when his other business interests went bang..... and the current AFC Telford United were born as a result. Could happen to anybody dependant on a benefactor to prop them up, especially when they no longer willing/unable to aka get divorced! Be careful of that flaming ball in the sky, Icarus ;)

27-minute Radio 4 programme about the ownership troubles at Scunthorpe United, well worth a listen...
