Just a quick 4 days in Cork on the banks of the beautiful River Lee this summer ( gratis, courtesy of my wife's company ! ) Then early next year following you guys far east again to China to my second (spiritual !) home in Guangzhou. Then a first visit to either Yunan province or my brother-in-laws' in-laws by flying six hours NW to Hangzhou.

He's a police chief inspector so we should be ok !

Would love to travel a further 3 hours by air and visit Lhasa & Tibet but Ling tells me the altitude could be a problem - too high & thin air apparently.
