Not another Blackpool reject. Blinkhorn, Edge and Jamie Burns were the last three, no more please.

I'd rather we looked at players on their individual merit than just blacklisting an entire club

But looking at the players released the bigger names we can't afford, Francesco Carratta sticks out as an ex-PSV youth player (only 21) but he'll probably move back to Holland or Belgium where he's previously played. Stuart Green who has also been released has played around 30 games in 6 years. The rest would have been reserve players that got beat by our own reserve team (twice?).

To be fair, Lewis Edge was only brought in as a short-term measure to cover for the injured Scott Davies, so I think your criticism is a little unfair.
