Fun Run - Children go FREE

As its Father's Day and there is a Family Day, Morecambe FC have decided to let anyone 18 and under enter the the first ever Fun Run for free.

You will still need to register for health and safety reasons.

I've already mentioned this on another thread but no one as yet has answered so i'll ask again here.

are there any marshalls on the course on Sunday? and will there be a water station on route too?

In answer to your questions. The police are assisting at major junctions, that's across Lancaster Road and across Marine Road and on to the prom. For the remainder of the route Morecambe FC stewards have volunteered to help.

As regards a water station the hope was to have a water station at the Midland Hotel courtesy of a sponsor. At the present time though this hasn't been agreed and we are doing what we can to find an alternative, however at this point there is no water station. We'll update you as to any changes.
